Concept for a Swiss-based blog template design. Would love everyone's feedback on this.

Regarding kerning, the ideal seems to be -50 in Photoshop, but CSS seems to only allow for whole numbers with letter-spacing, which works out to about -100 in Photoshop. It's a bit too crowded, but letter-spacing: 0 seems far too loose.

I was going to comment on the kerning... methinks that wide kerning is better than too tight kerning. Not really sure where your'e going with the colours, but they strike me as more African than Swiss.

I knew kerning would be a common concern. Letter spacing: 0 really seemed to take away from it's punch.

And yes, the color was the other thing I was concerned about. Will play with it. Almost a bit too distracting from the overall design.

Oh, that's unfortunate. Fractional letter-spacing seems to work in Firefox 3 (-1px < -0.5px < 0px) but sure doesn't happen in Safari for me either (-0.5px = 0px).
