This was a quick project for a friend. I don't think the church has any particular logo or font, so I had some leeway.

I've always assumed that drop shadows were copasetic so long as offset was set to zero.

How about this, Sean... If you can name the font, I'll get rid of the shadow. =)

At first glance I thought something from the Din family, but that guess looks to be wrong after a closer look, the lower case 'L" gives that way.

I then thought Klavika but then I would be wrong again as it is too smooth, I am not sure what exact font it is, it looks to be something like Cachet, or Pill Gothic.

I am at a loss.


bah, drop shadows on such clean fonts strike me as out of place, and again, thats personal taste. I loathe shadows on most fonts as I LOVE fonts, and that one is so pretty.

I'm guess on Vista or Pill Gothic, but I'm probably wrong, that font is trixie as it looks like several different fonts, but I won't argue that its a gorgeous font.

Do you remove all the shadows from your photos and artwork? : )

I think they get overdone, but sometimes they work fine IMHO.

hahaha.

I just think when something is so vector as this design, shadows really detract from it, again, its personal prefference, as this design is nice and clean.

I like shadows on fonts for certain things, I'm just a picky poo head :P
