Calvary Chapel, D.C. Metro - Logo, Fresh

This is the final they decided upon. Not quite as classic as the sepia one (IMO), but it's really vibrant and full of life.

Variations can be found here: plasticmind.com/clients/ccdc/

I like this one — a lot .

The kerning, though is a little wonky — maybe just a wee bit more space between the Y and the C.

And do you need the periods in "D.C."?

Seems, these days, that periods are pretty much for file names, URLs, and the ends of sentences.

Well, it's for Washington D.C., and this is how they've spelled it (native residents). Just putting DC might be more confusing than taking them away.

The official site of the District of Columbia uses "DC" extensively. I'd say "exclusively", but I haven't gone deep enough into the site.

Just saying.

Fair point... I'll mention it to the client.

great logo.

I think D.C. is better for District of Columbia. More formal, and appropriate for our nation's capitol.

DC to me means a type of battery.

Beautiful logo, Jesse. Nice work.

What font did you use? By the way, I love the logo. It's very versatile.

ooh i like it. lively, modern, yet still firmly "christian"y. Love the color scheme too. And D.C vs DC doesn't make a difference to me... (even though I'm 9 months behind the game! LOL)
