Changing Hearts '07 Flier - Side 2

I'm terrible at copy. I did want to keep it informal and pass on some relevant information. I personally like the bottom half being a map (since it's really easy to get lost around here).

and that map...even at the large size, is totally not readable. you're going to need to zoom in much closer, where people can actually read street names and such. like this. feel free to use it! : )

I'm not a fan of body copy set in all caps, but I think this could benefit from some just to tie it, stylistically, to the front of the card. Right now, they don't share anything in common. If the back it only black (versus your 2-color front), then you can't use red to unite the two. Consider a centered, force-justified layout for your text, like the front. Everything on the front is crisp, yet you've got a feathered edge on your map...

I like your conversational copy. It certainly is casual and feels like a real person wrote it (both good things). Where I'm conflicted is whether it's too much of a deviation from your "staccato," factual front or a refreshing contrast.

The scale of the map doesn't bother me. Seeing my town at that size would provide me with enough bearing to get there. However, if you keep it that size, I would add the actual street number and name.

You've done a great job with the front. Now just give as much attention to detail to the back. You can do it!

But Becky, if I'm new to town, I'd have a heck of a time finding this place! : ) So I agree, if you leave it that size, you have to put a street number so I can Google it.

pw's got a point about being new to town. Thanks for calling me on an assumption!

Thanks for the great tips. One thing to keep in mind... I resized this from 300dpi down to upload it to Flickr. The original size will actually be the straight images I got from Google maps. Trust me, on the original, they're super clear.

As for the street number, it's on the other side. But yeah, I should have probably included it here.

And I TOTALLY agree with matching the writing style front and back. Unfortunately, due to a hard deadline, it's already been sent to print. *tear*

Thanks so much for the great feedback, BTW.
