OVC Counciling News Ads

Can't decide on which to use. Left one seems really cluttered. Right on is nice but a little cliche. The center one has the subtle font transformation, which is nice, but might get lost in a newspaper surrounded by a bunch of other ads.

Thoughts?

Tough call. I really like the third one, and I'd look at it just for the pretty butterfly, but I don't know if that makes it the most effective.

I like the idea of the first one - it's very original - but I don't know if everyone would recognize the point you are making, if that image would draw the eye, if "deliverance" is really the word you want to use here, and you're right, it feels cluttered.

The second one might be a good compromise. But as a girl, I'd still go with #3.

Well, a lady in our church made the brilliant suggestion to change it from a question to a statement. (I can ask the question in the brochure because I answer it inside, whereas I can't do that with a news ad.)

Also... I think the butterfly one ties in with the theme I created for the full brochure.

3 all the way. I love the positive feel of the statement. It takes faith to say that, and it's encouraging! And the butterfly is a great symbol of transformation.

The only think I might think about changing would be the size of the logo - it seems like if you are targeting the general public, some people might be turned off by the obvious religious-ness of the cross. And more white space is usually a good thing when it comes to a newspaper ad.

@kramseytx: Great point about the logo. I'll make that change.
